America’s National Security Strategy 2025

The National Security Strategy of the United States of America 2025 is a document that attests to and affirms Russia’s calculated views about Europe and the endless anti-Russia policies of the European leaders.

The 2025 National Security Strategy of the United States is a 33-pager self-defeating document that trumpets America’s failures around the globe and affirms the death of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) along with the puppet regimes of Europe. At the same time, the 2025 National Security Strategy has sealed an unprecedented victory for Russian President Vladimir Putin’s consistent strategy for a safer and more stable Eurasia.

The 2025 National Security Strategy is calling for a new Monroe Doctrine to “restore American preeminence in the Western Hemisphere.” It is also making huge statements such as “We will reward and encourage the region’s governments, political parties, and movements broadly aligned with our principles and strategy.” It is calling for maintaining the status quo over Taiwan, bashing of the European leaders, transferring the focus away from the Middle East, and emphasising ‘Flexible Realism’.

All these callings and claims are quite big; however, the successive US administrations brought unnecessary and unwanted burdens on the US taxpayers. Now, it is time to reconsider the American global engagement and its role in the decades to come.

Russia – No More a Threat to the US

The British BBC suggested that the 2025 National Security Strategy has drawn a critical critique of Europe’s “civilizational erasure” and “does not cast Russia as a threat to the US.” In a response to the US strategy, the Kremlin spokesman, Mr. Dmitry Peskov, said that “The adjustments we’re seeing, I’d say, are largely consistent with our vision.” Mr. Peskov also expressed his optimism that he is seeing some “modest guarantee” that both countries could work together in finding some settlement to the ongoing Russia’s Special Military Operation in Ukraine. He added that “We consider this a positive step.”

Mr Peskov said that “Overall, these messages certainly contrast with the approaches of previous administrations.” It is a truth that the previous successive US administrations were quite hostile towards Russia and did everything in their capacity to encircle Russia with unfriendly and inimical puppet regimes.

Mr. Peskov said that “US President Donald Trump’s domestic political position is strong, which allows him to adjust the country’s national security strategy to suit his vision.” However, besides Russia’s open-mindedness, Russia must be very cautious about this, since the deep-state in the US and Europe could initiate other projects as well to create new problems for Russia, as they installed puppets like Zelensky in Ukraine and continue to fuel the so-called ‘Colour Revolutions’ around the globe to topple popular governments.

Demagnetize Russia and China

The most dangerous aspect of the 2025 National Security Strategy calls for demagnetizing Russia and China. The growing strategic relations between Russia and China have been a grave concern for the US for quite some time. It is to be remembered here that both Russia and China have been encouraging the people of the world to embrace the multipolar world since 1997 and took the petition to the United Nations as well. However, besides the fact that the US aims to continue its global preponderance and hegemony over the rest, the Russia-China strategic partnership has greatly challenged that.

Conclusions

The Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C., US, noted that “This National Security Strategy (NSS) marks an ideological and substantive shift in U.S. foreign policy.” It also argued that “The administration is attempting to define a new “America First” foreign policy doctrine that is deeply pragmatic and perhaps short-sighted.” Likewise, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) in New York noted that the 2025 National Security Strategy “emphasized non-interventionism and putting “America First” - signal a sharp change from the previous 2022 NSS that outlined the United States’ role in strengthening democracy and preserving peace under the current world order.”

It is noteworthy why the leading American think tanks are not happy about the 2025 National Security Strategy of the US. The reason is very simple: the Trump Administration has somehow realised that Russia does not want hostile relations with the US. The US is seeking a settlement between Russia and Ukraine and has signalled that Russia’s Special Military Operation in Ukraine could bring peace to the region. We may see some settlement in the months to come where Ukraine could lose more territory; however, the threats for the Russian Federation are far from over, and its indigenous reliance on defence as well as economy would ensure its future.
