There is no reason to think that this caravan of death is over. Tawhidis (zealots) can start it anytime if they think their religion is in danger or if they see a red thread on the wrists of any Hindu. No excuse is necessary to kill a Hindu in Bangladesh. How long will this go on? The government, the administration, the media, the courts, and the people are not in favour of Hindus, in fact everyone is anti-Hindu.
The Hindu population of Bangladesh lives in constant fear. A nation cannot survive in fear. There is no way to survive except to resist the perpetrators. In the words of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, ‘build forts in every house, fight the enemy with whatever you have’.

Police recovered his body from Chakgauri Bazar area of the upazila on the afternoon of 6 January.

A rickshaw puller, Govinda was beaten by a mob in Jhenaidah district on 19 December 2025 after onlookers noticed a sacred red thread (traditionally worn by Hindus) on his wrist and began circulating rumours about his alleged intentions.
